PhD student Ava Ma de Sousa receives multiple prestigious awards, including the P.E.O. International Scholar Award (and recognized as an AnnaBelle B. Bush Memorial Scholar), the UCSB Graduate Division Dissertation Fellowship and the Humanities & Social Sciences Research Grant, and the 2026 PBS Chuck McClintock Award. Congratulations Ava!
